Chesham-Away

The Youth Team earned a valuable point away to Chesham last night.

With some of the squad being asked to play their 3rd game in 3 day's it was a case of seeing who could stand let alone run & play football.

Chesham took the lead & we looked tired & jaded. For us on the bench we were wondering if this was 1 game to many. With encouragement from the bench we picked ourselves up & scored a great equaliser from Jetmir Kamberi who after chasing the ball down over 40 yards showed great skill & compsure to round the goalie & slot the ball home.

After this we took control of the game & the 2nd half saw some great football from us. The back 4 were always in command, the midfield hussled & were 1st to most things, the wide players beating their markers & getting crosses in & the forwards always willing to chase every through ball. The only thing missing was the winning goal from our numerous chances.

All of the squad showed great energy levels & to play with the skill & purpose shown takes great commitment & concentration.
